Journal Entry for Sunday, August 4, 2000

The last team of 2000 comprised youth and adults from small membership churches in the Tallahassee, Florida District of the United Methodist Church. They were thirteen in number. Here they are during their last full day on Utila, riding up the beach from Blue Bayou in a pickup truck. Tallahassee Team

The team arrived in style after an overnight stay in La Ceiba.

The first of the team's two work projects was burying wire to connect our UMCC generator to the main school building.

While the wire project was underway the team continued to build on Indiana's progress with the Teacher's Residence.

The team spent two afternoons on the Keys doing Vacation Bible School.  Both the team and the kids had a ball!
