John works the wall The next stage of the Teacher's Residence is underway. John works on some of the framing for the utility room.

The building plans are good but sometimes you just need a little extra instruction. Where? How?

Two walls up Two walls up. Looking good!

And soon the building is framed all around.  It's high; that's a ten foot ladder standing next to it. Walls in place

Focus, men, focus Hmm... Some intense thought is involved at this stage in the game.

Marine plywood is hammered in place on the team's last day at the site. Nailing on the plywood

Lumber awaits the next team Pictured is about half of the lumber we have on hand. It simply awaits the labor to apply hammer to nail!

This is typically the end of the season for work teams as vacations end and school gets underway again in the U.S. (Plus, the rainy season on Utila runs from mid-September through mid-November.) We already have two teams on the calendar for February.  Their work's cut out for them!
