Journal Entry for Monday, June 26, 2000

Our team from Tallahassee, Florida arrived in La Ceiba Friday evening. The group is part of Se'lah, a musical group at Saint Paul's UMC. Saturday morning they headed for Utila on the yacht (a daily passenger ferry).  Here we are on board at the port. Se'lah on the yacht, docked in La Ceiba

Underway to Utila The mountains behind us are beautiful as we make our way across 16 miles of open seas.

    There are 14 on the team; their focus is music and VBS with some construction on the side. You've seen pictures of their boat ride (above) but they were singing before they even left La Ceiba.

    The Se'lah team arrived in Utila on Saturday by way of the yacht. Sunday morning they were again on the high seas as we made the six mile trip to the Keys.

    The team is also tackling the first stages of the Teachers Residence under construction at the Utila Methodist Community College.
