    Se'lah in Concert

Se'lah performed full concerts in La Ceiba and twice on Utila.

Se'lah at Zion Methodist Church, La Ceiba Two hours after their plane touched down, Se'lah was performing at Zion Methodist Church, La Ceiba. (Notice Se'lah alum Jill, just right of center.)

We were delighted that Rev. Juan Simpson (my fellow ordained minister in the circuit) led the Zion youth choir in participating in the concert. I had heard this choir in Belize and was delighted that Se'lah could enjoy them as well. Zion Methodist Youth Choir

Utila Mizpah concert, Tuesday night On Tuesday night the team gave a concert at Mizpah Methodist on Utila.

Trey the pianist played the keyboard so hard that he fell off the bench! Well, not really. The team did its own setup and take down.  Roadie Trey

Chris, Trey and Eric warm up for outdoor concert Chris, Trey and Eric warm up for the open air concert.

A lot of the kids who were in the three day Vacation Bible School came to the concert. VBS kids in attendance

Se'lah women in excellent voice The women of Se'lah were in excellent voice and remained focused despite the dogs wandering in and out.

The team invited the kids up to perform some of the songs they'd learned in Vacation Bible School. Kids invited up to sing

I was especially pleased by the turnout at the outdoor concert. Chairs were filled with kids and church people and a lot of people on the street hung out around the periphery, listening intently. Another way to spread the good news of Jesus Christ!
