Journal Entry for Sunday, August 8, 1999

Quote of the week goes to Mr. C. J. Woods.  Hanging in the sanctuary for Harvest (see below) was a fruit that I didn't recognize.  "They're hog plums," C. J. told me.  And then he recited this bit of prose:

Good for the young,
Good for the old,
Good for the babies nine days old.

On to the photos.  First we tour the area called Campo Nado and then take a more general tour around town.  Then it's Harvest time, one of the highlights of the church year.  Lastly, a reflection on the question, "How do you like it there?"
