Photo highlights of the week include the children's parade at 4:00p.m. on Monday. The parade was in celebration of the anniversary of the Sunday School (I don't know how many years). It was not just for the Methodist Church children but for all kids on the island who wanted to march. (There's a channel on the island cable that advertises local events like this.) I'd guess about 60 kids came to march.

I bought a bicycle Thursday and rode to a few places beyond town early Friday morning before it got too hot (6:30a.m. 'til about 8:00p.m.). Took my camera along and snapped photos of Blue Bayou (west of town), the airport (east of town), and Rocky Point (east and to the north of the airport).
