Flying to Utila with Jill: August 17, 1999

Jill's flight wasn't due to La Ceiba until 5:00p.m., well after the last commercial flight to Utila.  So I chartered a small plane.

Chris of Utila Dive Center And this is not it.  There's a small hangar at the Utila airport that houses this flying machine.  It's a single seater that Chris of the Utila Dive Center takes out almost everyday.  He had landed on the runway shortly before my SOSA plane left for La Ceiba.

Yes, here we are.  I didn't get a picture of the plane from the outside.  (I was too interested in the gal on the inside.)  The plane is a small three passenger.

We flew over the island while waiting to land. (TACA pilots were practicing landings and take-offs on the Utila landing strip.)  A nice way to see East Harbor. Flying to Utila
