Indiana Team Works on Teachers Residence (page 2 of 2)

The PVC forest A regular PVC forest emerges as the columns for the first apartment are placed.

The next step is to fill the posts with concrete.  Tracey's standing on a plank between two sawhorses to give her the proper height. Tracey pours concrete

Bolts are put in place Bolts are placed in the wet cement to provide a way to anchor the lumber that will rest on top.

The plans call for three courses of block on the foundation of the apartment complex's utility room. Jim C. trowels mortar onto concrete block

Laura and Jayma take a break Laura and Jayma take a break from the action...

...along with Mike and Joy. Note the water bottles. It's important to drink a lot in the heat of Utila so you don't become dehydrated. Mike and Joy sit out a bit

Brian and Jim C after the final course of block The final blocks are now in place.

The Indiana team's focus was this project. We are so pleased at the amount of work they completed. There are always struggles with getting supplies, equipment, etc and this team experienced their share of these frustrations.  They patiently and prayerfully worked their way through them with great result!
