Journal Entry for Friday, March 10, 2000

A work team from Broadmoor United Methodist of Baton Rouge, Louisiana served the church and children of Utila this week. They were a large team and stayed at hotels in the area, eating in various places. They were very gracious in inviting us to join them; Jill and I did some good eating out during their stay!

I believe this team set an all time record in number of boxes transported... 21 altogether, many of them the big computer size. The mission house was a staging area. 21 boxes!

These folks were busy. They started with a day off Saturday (I like that!) and went with us to the Keys on Sunday.

Vacation Bible School was a major component of the team's work.  I've put together several pages on an excellent effort that served over 150 children in two days.
