The team stayed at Utila Hotel but ate their meals with us at the Mission House.

Joan and Bill are engaged to be married in August. Sadly, Joan's daughter became critically ill back in the U.S. and they left Wednesday morning, less than 48 hours after arriving. We all missed them. |

I was surprised to see one of the team adults instructing a youth on how to use a bottle opener; the 12 ounce returnable bottles so common on Utila have of course disappeared from the U.S. That made me feel old... When I was growing up soft drinks only came in glass bottles! |
